MCTIMONEY CORLEY ANIMAL SPINAL THERAPY

McTimoney Corley Spinal Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive manipulation of the bones of the head, spinal column, pelvis and limbs. It restores health by not only working directly on the skeleton, but also indirectly affecting the soft tissues of the body. It further restores health by enabling the proper functioning of the nerves and endocrine system of the animal and in doing so, helps promote the natural self healing ability of the body.

This therapy works in harmony with the body as opposed to against is, and so does not rely on forceful adjustments, but rather gentle realignments which encourage soft tissue release.

McTimoney Corley Spinal Therapy not only relieves pain, but can, and often does, remove the cause of other disease - no cell or organ of the body can function properly without the correct supply of nerve impulses.

EQUINE AND CANINE TOUCH

Equine/Canine Touch is again gentle and non-invasive and works on the soft tissues of the body - that is; the muscles, tendons and ligaments. This techniques also work on the nervous system and can assist in lymphatic drainage. This discipline works at a completely holistic level, treating the animal as a whole: physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

Pre-determined sequences of moves are performed over specific points of the body, helping it rebalance from a cellular level, encouraging the animal to reach the ideal state of balance.

Equine/Canine Touch is extremely calming and the effects are usually clearly visible. Not only will the session leave your animal feeling more comfortable, but often they will be very sleepy and in a deep state of relaxation following a treatment.

Used together, McTimoney Corley Animal Spinal Therapy and Equine/Canine Touch Soft Tissue Bodywork can treat the entire musculo-skeletal system of the animal. You will rarely find a problem in a joint without the surrounding soft tissues being effected - likewise, you will rarely see a soft tissue injury without the local joints being somehow involved.

These techniques work with the innate healing system of the animal, not against it, and a single session will continue to be processed for 4 to 5 days after a treatment, meaning that the beneficial effects will keep on coming!

It is important that any animal receiving this kind of treatment is given at least 24 hours 'rest' following a session, to allow the body to process and adjust to the procedurse that have been applied. It is also recommended that you let your vet know your animal will be receiving this treatment.
